We plan to sell our Class A and would like to get some thoughts on the best online marketing tools. There are several classified sites to choose from — RVTrader.com, wheelbynet.com, rvhunter.com, rvclassified.com, etc. Are there any sites that really stand out? Thanks.

I am sure it is the same for a good quality Class A but we sold our Class C on RV Trader in 48 hours. It was a breeze and in fact sold so fast that we have been coachless now for 4 months waiting on delivery of our new coach (3 more weeks) and had to cancel a 3 month trip.

I would use the free Classified section here on IRV2, RVTrader.com, and CraigsList. Be prepared for the scam offers on Craigslist!

I would specify in the ads that you will only accept a direct transfer of funds from their bank to yours, NO EXCEPTIONS! That's the only safe way to do it!

Mesa AZ is within Motorhome Shopping Range from here in SLC, UT. So, I'd list it in our local classified, KSL.com classifieds. Everybody here in Zion uses it, it's so much better than Craigslist. And it's freeeee....whacha got to lose??

We finally found the RV we had been looking for after months of searching and even more months of learning and investigating. We found these resources the best for us as far as info and selection:
RVT
RvTrader
Craigslist
Auto Trader
Links to major dealers

We knew we’d rather buy privately because the owner could help with history and receipts etc for repairs and upgrades.
