Best Place to sell CRV Toad
I'm changing toads and will be selling my '08 CRV, which brings up the question of whether there are sites for selling toads with baseplate, etc. Can anyone help me with options? It will easily sell if I get the baseplate off, but still a great toad.

I've sold my last 2 by putting a couple ads on Craigslist-- one in the autos for sale and one in the RV section.

I would first post an ad in the classified section of RV forums like this one. The CRV is one of the most popular toads.
We traded a 2012 CRV in late 2015. During the trade in negotiations, I asked the dealership sales manager if the Blue Ox baseplate was an issue (I figured he would try and lower the trade in saying they would have to bear the cost of removing it). To my surprise he said he wanted to leave it on since he knew he could sell it to someone with a motorhome. We got top dollar trade in value for it.

I will be trying to get $7700, which was the clean trade offer on a recent vehicle purchased. I kept it, however, until I can get my Canyon equipped. Still a great toad, but we don't need 3 vehs.

David, I would list with AutoTrader.com, Craigslist, and IRV2 Classifieds. Be prepared for scam offers on Craigslist!
I would also state that only a direct transfer of funds between their bank and yours will be acceptable! NO EXCEPTIONS!
