Best sewer hose

I entered sewer hose and did not come up with anything so here I am. My hoses are getting old and have a couple of pinhole leaks. I went online to research what was best and was overwhelmed. So many to choose from. One I liked had a large rubber donut that fits in the "hole in the ground" that looked easier than trying to thread something in. Any recommendations as to brands or style to buy. Cost is not a big problem. Anything that makes it easier to use would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I use a macerator system would not have anything else. Take a look at them there are a few system. As for the connection the the ground I find the screw in better than the rubber grommets but I keep and adapter and a grommet around in case the dump station threads are messed up.

I like the screw in after my grommet fell out once while dumping.

Went out Friday and bought a 10', a 5', and a 2' Rhino Extreme to replace a couple of 5 year old hoses.
The 2' will not fit on my clear 45* connector but the others do.
Will head back out tomorrow to either get a 2' replacement or something else.
I need the 2 footer to come out the misaligned dump valve to hole in floor of compartment. The clear 45 goes on after that, then the regular length hose.
I think I'm gonna like the Extreme hoses.
Many on here just go with the Rhino Flex hose.

A lot depends on how you define best, toughest vs easiest to handle but sturdy may be two different things. I use the standard Rhinoflex, works good for me, and is easier to handle collapses easier, etc than the sturdier Rhinoflex Extreme. If I were to set up for a long time in one place I might opt for the tougher Rhinoflex Extreme though.

I also use the standard heavy duty Rhinoflex, and it works great and is easy to store. I use the screw in fitting, but carry a donut just in case.

I got this, have not installed it yet but I can tell you the hose is a much heavier hose than anything else I have seen. The cam lock seems to be a much more secure attachment method.

Rhino is great but I couldn't use it as the end is too big to store in my built in sewer storage container.

I use Blueline and have all the extra fittings.

Over the years I have stayed at about 500 RV parks and discovered there are some mentally ill people who design the pedestals and sewer connections. I am talking totally whacked out STUPID. I'm sure there are many people on here that would agree.

So you need to carry every adapter you can find and extensions capable of going 30 to 40 feet.

Wrinkle..... you want the “semi-rigid” hose, the type that will stretch out as far as you want and then hold its shape. Avoid the cheap, brown hose, the so called “stinky slinky”. Cheap goods that do not serve you well.
Buy either the Rhinoflex (orange bayonet fittings) or the Valterra Dominator (red fittings). They both have the standard bayonet fittings (interchangeable), the semi rigid hose, and the ends are factory bonded so failure is highly unlikely. The Valterra hoses are of the same quality but have slightly less bulky connecting fittings than the Rhino, so they can fit into tighter connecting areas.
Your standard setup should be for a threaded sewer connection. It is more solid and reliable, and that is important. If you go with the donut, and it later slips loose and you cause a spill, you will discover just how burdensome Health Dept or EPA fines can be!

What ever you get, make sure you get enough of the same brand to make it to the farthest away you think you will ever be and then add 10' so you have a backup for when you tear one up or forget to store in when you leave the camp sight. I would say 3 ten footers and 2 five footers. along with 2 sets of elbows and 2 clear sections. Oh yeah don't forget to get the poop shoot stands to keep it off the ground. It is required in most parks.

After many hoses, I went with this exact set up. Gives you up to 20 feet if you need it. Swiveling ends are very nice to have and never any leaks. I store this in a small bin, very compact set up.
