It's much easier now that so much of TV watching can be done wirelessly. IMO the TV being there in my coach is the best place. We can see from both couches even when the slides are in. I might add a televator but I've never considered taking the original down.

This vintage Monaco, HR had play in the steering box right from the factory AFAIK. My play is about 1". Believe it or not I'm so used to it now I might not fix it right away. Search Shepard or TRW steering box to see lots of info.
You might also want to look up Jiffy splices.

We are very happy with our 2007 and this one looks nicer from what I can see.

It looks like it was a problem in 2007 and maybe another year or two. I have a 2007 and have the jumper installed until I can get back home and repair it properly.

Older tube TVs needed alot of wall space behind them so the deep cabinet above the windshield was a logical spot. Once flat-screens appeared is when they moved them mid-ship. Our 2008 Damon has a mid-ship TV and bunks. A perfect Floorplan for our traveling family. No floral patterned furniture or brass fixtures to deal with either. It has been an excellent coach the three years we've owned it. Never been in the shop once (knock on wood). Just saying you don't always have to go the marquee brand-name route to have a good used DP experience. The key is did the previous owner(s) take good care of it. You can't turn back the clock on abuse and poor maintenance.
