The factors that usually are not included are location. Are you driving in the hills or simply cruising in the flat midwest. Not sure how valid the led indicator is but at 60 mph with limited hills, we'll see up to 8 mpg. On a grade that number is as low as 2.4 mpg. On a 10 miles uphill grade, we'll use maybe 4 gallons of gas. How that all figures into overall mileage is determined the old fashioned way, paper and pencil.
Aside from terrain, driving with the AC running takes a hit on mileage. So if you're driving in the Southwest in the summer, it's probably on quite a bit. I'm not sure how dash heat effects mileage but suspect minimal if at all. So time of year impacts mileage.
Other factors include programmers and other performance enhancers. That said, at least in my opinion, these threads aren't particularly meaningful.

For me that is trips (every year) from Renton, Wa. to Huntington Beach, Ca. either via
I-5 south - 199 - 101 south - I-5 south - I-605 - I-405
or
I-5 south - 58 - 97 south - I-5 south- I-505 - I-80 - I-680 south - I-101 south - 126 east - I-5 south - I-605 - I-405
A decent mix of flat, hills and grade/s. I keep the speed no more than 60mph.
