You have to pay attention to where and how you put the axel straps so you do not damage a brake line or any other thing along the axel. I use them when hauling my Grand Cherokee on a trailer, not the dolly.
If you are putting a front wheel drive on the dolly you may not have the option of axel straps depending on the undercarriage configeration, so look close before making your purchase.
