Just something to think about once you do get a clear one. I keep my clear adapter attached to my tank at all times, and put the end cap on the end of the adapter (of course, this requires the room in the bay for it to always be attached). This takes the "surprise" out of any problems with the black or gray valve gate or if someone pulls the handle with the cap still attached because you will see the "stuff" in the adapter. Don't ask my why this is a good idea
