Black water tank

My black water has everything plumbed to it except the kitchen. It fills very rapidly when boondocking. It is a 2002 Rexhall Roseair, is this normal and how difficult to plumb the shower to go into the gray water?

It's possible to do. You'd need to see what's involved to redo the shower drain line and how much capacity the gray tank has. There could be a couple of good reasons the coach was built that way...weight balance, complexity of design, etc.

It's a common factory shortcut to do something like that. If its easier to run the drain from a sink or shower to black instead of gray, they may do it. Changing it after the coach is finished is often a challenge, simply to get at everything. The plumbing itself is easy, if you can see it and touch it.

Smile thanks

I appreciate the responses, My shower definitely goes to the black water tank, the manual says the grey and black are both 40 gal. I love the coach but it really makes dry camping difficult.
