Block Leak?
Why would fluid be leaking from this drain plug on block?  drivers side engine block

Not tight enough? Too tight? Damaged during last fluid changeout? Service performed at Camping World? Wrong plug? No crush washer (if required)?

I dont think that plug has ever been out. Im second owner only 13000 miles on it. Ill try and tighten it first

Looks like a "pipe" threaded plug.
I would coat the threads with Permatex #2 and reinstall.
If that is coolant I see, loosen the radiator cap to relieve the pressure first.

What engine ??
I see a spark plug boot and exhaust manifold shield , so I'm thinking the plug is in the cylinder head and the fluid may be an oil leak from a valve cover .

What motor. Is see a little clean spot looks like a square drive, until I blow it up. Might be wrong. Is it a square drive.? Something seem to have been weeping maybe 6 drops soaked into dirt it attracted over the years.
Might be best to leave just it alone.

Sorry pic isnt the greatest. Its definitely not an oil leak.. it was just a little wet around the plug. Yes looks like plug u can take out with a half inch drive extension. Im pretty sure its antifreeze coolant.
Every once in awhile i smell antifreeze after startup. No leaks that ive found yet.

Passenger side or drivers?
It appears to be where a coolant sensor is normally. I know the earlier TBI years had sensor in each head. One for the dash temp gauge and the other for the auxiliary fan.
You'd have to drain the coolant. Remove the plug and coat the threads with thread sealant. Then replace.

That was a common problem with the early 8.1 engine in the pickup trucks.
I had a 2003 GMC 2500 with that same leak. Warranty covered it.
I assume your leak is in a pickup truck?

Awesome. I just tightened mine today while fixing other things. I read about this problem on this forum. For years, I could smell the burnt fluid. I bought my last bottle of Dexcool hopefully. Lol.
