BlueJean Stains on White Leather Recliner

I have created BlueJean stains on our White Leather Recliners. I feel like a moron for not having been aware that this was likely to happen ss I wear bluejeans 90 percent of the time.

Question: How best to safely clean these stains from white leather.??

Thank you for your help.

My guess is that most fabric dye is about all the same stuff. What makes denim blue is about the same as what makes leather white. Be very careful using something strong enough to dissolve the denim dye.

Hi Jerry,I recommend Goof Off,I have successfully used it to remove ball point pen ink on my leather couch. I do suggest that you try it in a non-conspicuous place, just to be sure!

Blue denim will also rub off on tan furniture. You need to wash the jeans about 6 time to get the residual dye out. In the mean time throw a towel or blanket over the chair or sofa.

I do not know how to get the existing stain out. You might contact an upholstery shop,

An alternate might be to take off the jeans?

I use a leather cleaner from The Chemical Guys. Its in a spray and works very well. Then, I use a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple.

I can't say what works on real leather but in my last coach with ultra-leather I had some blue ball point ink get on the passenger seat. I removed it by wetting a paper towel in Clorox and laying it flat over the stain. It worked great and never hurt the material.

He has a 2012 Tiffen Phaeton, I doubt it is real leather, but rather ultra-leather.
I used Goof-off to remove an ink stain, it also removed the cream color from the surface of the ultra-leather. I like your method much better, and I'll try to remember.
