BlueSky rv insurance
I have Foremost insurance and they raised my 2001 Monaco dynasty tag to $1600 per year. I got a quote from blue sky for less than $1000. Anyone have any experience with Blue sky??

I've had them for over a year but have had no claims. When I researched the company they seemed like they handled claims quickly and were pretty complaint free. They also had at least an A rating as far as I remember.
Good luck.

Progressive quoted almost TRIPLE what Blue Sky did with a motorhome registered in South Dakota. On my last DP, registered in Montana, Progressive was the second highest quote. I just went back and got an apples to apples quote from progressive - they are quoted $2,400+ compared to $ 911 for Blue Sky.
As always you need to get a personal quote since insurance rates vary not only from state to state but from county to county within states. I suggest that you get a good insurance agent to quote multiple sources and then do you own homework.

Had Blue Sky...when I moved residence 2nd year to SD and I'd myself as full time, they went up by 25%. I'd expected an increase. Independent agent re-shopped my insurance. Ended up with Alliance (a sub of National I believe), half the deductible and 20% cheaper. I also now have glass and awning coverage that I didn't have before. I had no claims so I don't know responsiveness.
It would be useful to remember, for folks comparing, that there are a lot of variables, including driving record, accident record, and credit rating, in addition to location. So it would seem ill-advised to say "I got this at this price, and "So-in-so is more expensive than so-in-so". Just saying'.

Have had Blue Sky little more than a year. Got a crack in the windshield. No claim problems, everything was handled promptly and all is well now.

I've had Blue Sky for over a year and a half now, $658 a year for our '06 DP in California. Progressive was just over $1000, Everyone else was way more. No claims yet other than a roadside assistance call last year.

Okay. Pulled the trigger on blue sky. I had foremost and they proposed a 20% increase this year to over $1600. Blue sky was $760. I did not get their separate roadside since I have Goodsam for that. I did pick up a $1000 deductible on Comp and collision vs the 500 I had. They would not do 500. They do have the vanishing deductible though where each claim free year the deductible drops by 25%.
Doesn't matter who you use until you have a claim but I'll take the 50% reduction in premiums for starters
Thanks to all who provided info on a Blue Sky RV Insurance

Went through the quote process with all of the major rv insurers and they were at least $500 less. I like the decreasing deductible and towing that covers all of our vehicles. So far no claims but everything else I've needed they've supplied.

We got a quote today as well and there was a significant savings. We have to to request a few changes in order for it to work with our umbrella policy, however, we will probably be moving our coverage.
