Booth Removal
In our hunt for a MH there are a few that fit most of the requirements on the DW's list however have a booth VS a table and chairs which she says she must have. Is it feasible to remove a booth and replace it with a table and chair setup?

Yes, that is a very doable mod for most any handy-person.
For my model RV it looks like this - See: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f121/outl...ml#post1742473
You don't say what brand/model you are looking at, so be sure to check that the flooring goes under the dinette boxes, or that will be another task added to the project.
The new table can be new or used...based on what you have and what you need.
Best luck

I did just that. My Journey had everything I wanted but had booth dinette. Mine was easy to remove. I had a local woodworker make the table and buffet/cabinets. I brought them into motorhome in pieces then screwed together. Looks great.

So long as you have carpet under the booth, it is a pretty easy project. Have fun with it! \ken

As Don and Nancy said this is a common mod so if you take it out, if should be pretty easy to sell your used booth on Craigslist. There are often people looking for used booths.
The booth are typically screwed into the side wall and floor by about a dozen screws and they aren't very hard to remove (or install).

I was thinking the same thing...I had a Fleetwood Discovery that had a table and chairs in it and I wanted a booth. I found someone on this forum that had a booth that they were willing to trade. The next time I was heading towards San Diego, I stopped and we made the trade. it fit perfectly!
