Bounder Luggage Storage Lights

Need Help

I had the switch break on one of my storage area lights. In the process of replacing it I "goofed" and forgot to turn the main Luggage Light Toggle Switch off at the step entry. I also had the misfortune to be replacing the only light mounted to a metal bracket. Yup! blew the fuse for the luggage area lights, saw it spark .

I have pulled every fuse in every panel, this includes the driver side dash panel (top side of dash), fuse panel in bedroom, and the panel under the hood, cannot find the blown fuse. I was upside down under the dash looking for another panel, nothing there. Note: getting under there was far easier than getting out. I could probably count on one hand the times I have used those lights but now if they don't work I'm sure I will need them every time I open a luggage door, Murphy's Law.

Ya know, I thought about installing storage bay lights too when I was preparing our coach for FT but decided against it. To much work, more stuff to break and won't use them much at all.

I know this doesn't help you much but if you're unable to fix this issue try one of these. This is how I solved this problem when it's dark and I keep right by the door at all times.

Good luck my friend.

There are 12v fuses in the electric panel. The dash fuses are for chassis functions eg radio, fan, etc.

Thanks for the tip, however those (10) are okay.

I have two sets of fuses in my old rig, one inside for interior lights and pump and one in my battery compartment for chassis fuses. Could be another box of fuses for you.
