Brighter head lights
I have a Tiffin 2023 38bh. I'm trying to find brighter driving light suggestions.
I have the eyeball lights, which I don't feel light up the road very well.
And feed back our suggestion?

The first thing to do is adjust them appropriately. Find a level spot in the dark and adjust them so they strike the road about 100' in front. The other issue is the lights can appear dim compared to a car because of the difference in viewing angle. In a car you are sitting almost directly behind the lights so more light is reflected back to you. In a motorhome you are six plus feet above the lights so they can appear to be dim when they are not. This is a common complaint with motorhomes.

Then check voltage at the headlight. Should be close to chassis battery voltage.
On some coaches, the power for the headlights goes through the headlight switch where is looses voltage. Easy to install a RELAY that is closed by the headlight switch and will likely give a full volt higher at the headlight (IF this is your issue.).

On my Class C recently one of my headlight bulbs went out. So I went to the auto part store to buy a replacement bulb. When I did, there were options for the bulb and some claim to be brighter than others. I went with the brightest bulb available. It wasn't too hard to replace and when I did finish with the 1 bulb I compared it (at night) to the other headlight bulb. They matched, so I didn't need to change the other one. I was kinda hoping that I would see that the other bulb is not as bright and then I would have happily changed the other bulb also (and then have brighter headlights overall). But it turns out, my headlights were already using the brightest bulbs.
Could be worth looking into that on your rig.
Good luck!
Chris

LED headlamps should not be used in standard reflector lamps, the light pattern is not compatible. As Wolfe10 stated, perform the basics first.
This is such a common issue, GM issued a recall for my 2002 Chevy dually to correct insufficient voltage to the headlamps. The recall remedy consisted of replacing the entire head lamp wiring loom and adding a relay.

As others have stated, LEDs should not be used in reflector housings because all they do is scatter the light and blind oncoming drivers. Sounds like you have the projector headlamps which are well suited for LEDs.
I have the projectors in mine and installed LEDs, the difference in driving at night is literally a night and day difference!

There are led lights that mimic the light pattern of a halogen bulb. may be worth a try.

Funky headlights on almost all newer things that go down the road. The old style round glass bulbs are better. Someone messing with something that was not broke.

Surely manufacturers should provide proper headlights (for safety) & not (it seems) discontinued parts from old passenger cars which may have worked for cars.
Have a problem with "... so they can appear to be dim" .... if they appear to be dim, they are ....that's the problem of using passenger car lights in motorhomes.
Simply another manufacturer greed cost saving at the expense of driver. They should at very least provide an option, never mind making it safety compulsory.

I had always heard you shouldn't use LED bulbs in halogen assemblies, but I recently tried LEDs that said they have the same pattern as the halogen. They are great. A little brighter, but the big difference is the color. Went from a yellow tint to white.
I sure recommend you try them.
