A bit of pedantry... "coach" is an enclosed carriage or rail car for use by passengers; the logical extension applies to motorized vehicles of the same purpose. For those old enough to remember "Body by Fisher", Fisher was originally "Fisher Coachworks" back when horses were the power unit...

So your motor home is a coach regardless of class, at least as far as dictionaries are concerned.

What you call it probably depends on the situation and who's around, but I call my class C "Ferd". Explaining the acronym will run afoul of the "community standards."

We refer to ours as a coach. We named it "Mama". We recently got it, and it is a Mountain Aire or MA, so Mama is pretty much inevitable................

ours has been "Been There" on all our rv's since '80's.. now we are going to do more than surrounding states{actually started} and keep log for grand kids
