That will be a Freightliner 'Evolution' chassis. Freightliner Custom Chassis Customer Service can be reached at 1-800-385-4357. You'll need the last 6 digits of the VIN.

Have you checked the relay and CAT fuse under the dash in the panel?

Will the engine not run at all (idle) or does it just not have any power.? Did you get a check engine light? A lot of things can cause what you describe, ours was a bad Heui pump. C7s seem to be famous for that problem.

Hi y'all. thanks for getting back to me. The coach is on a freightliner chassis with a Cat 350. It seems that it just died while accelerating. In retrospect, I have noticed the last few drives that on occasion it hesitated to accelerate for a moment and then the turbo kicked in and away we went. I just bought the bus recently, it may be a fuel filter, will change both those out tomorrow, but I am still looking for the hidden breaker or fuse to the fuel solenoid.

On a different note, I just spent 18 hours on the side of the road waiting for Good Sam Road Assistance to send a tow. After 12 phone calls a several tows cancelled by the tow company, I hired my own. I will be dropping them on Monday........Gawdawful customer service..

Boxer-- welcome! And I hope we can help.

There is a way you can pull the error codes using the directional signal shaft and blinking dash lights. The Freightliner hotline can talk you through it. More precise data will be helpful talking to them. You said your engine quit. Will it run at all? Is it in limp mode?

Welcome to IRV2 -a great source of info and assistance.
CoachNet has been extremely good to me - the basic plan offers either a tow or a mobile mechanic. They pay for the tow or mobile mechanic's service fee (you choose one or the other). You pay for parts (and labor if you have it towed to a garage).
I just had a serpentine belt start to come apart and they sent a mechanic who determined the tensioner was weak causing the belt to heat/come apart. My bill was $60 for the belt and tensioner - delivered and installed.
P.S. I'm not affiliated with CoachNet - just a happy customer.
