Just based on the P metric calcs I get 1.16 but still enough to be a huge issue

There really isn't a problem changing one set of duals as long as they are the same size and the other pair aren't worn out. The old other side needs to have 50% or greater tread left. Preferable the new tires on the right hand curb side

Thank you everyone who took the time to share their experience.
I will not be buying the Hankooks, since I understand now the significance of the difference between an 80R and a 75R tire.
The reason I was planning to buy only 3 new tires because the other 5 are all 2015 or newer. The 3 I want to replace are 2011 and 2012 manufacture dates. None of them show any sign of breakdown on the sidewalls, but I am trying to operate a safe vehicle. None of the 8 have any noticeable tread wear. The older tires are 3 of the 4 dualies.
I will look into the Toyo and Hercules options.
Last thought - I understand that some folks believe that mixing different brands can also be a problem. The opinion that, for example, a Goodyear 295 80F 22.5 is not physically identical to a Michelin 295 80R 22.5.
Is the consensus that, unless I want to buy 8 tires, I should buy Goodyears to match correctly the tires I am not replacing?

If you had the money to do all eight that would be the best way to go but few of us can do that. IMHO it might cost more to swap them around but I'd make sure two of the new ones go on the front. To me that's just a given. I'd ask the tire guy what position on the rear he recommends putting the third new one. I'm a car mechanic so never really thought about road crown other than alignment but as someone previously mentioned tires and road crown that third new one might be best on the right outside of the drive axle due to the crown. But that's just a guess.
Depending on where you go and what road service coverage you have or don't and if you have the space you might want to carry the best of the three coming off as a spare in case you end up out someplace where you'd have to wait for someone to order in a replacement tire.

2 fronts and the 2 tag would be where I would put 4. New ones. It'll get you back to matched sets. Then you can change brands and save a lot of money

While you are getting those tires replaced, get some Tyron straps installed for added safety! Tyron straps will give you a "run flat" tire in the event of a blowout, giving you control to pull off the road safely. The straps don't provide you with a run flat tire to go miles down the road. I had them installed on all of my coach tires.

Since I started this thread, I do not feel too bad going off topic. Today I want to start a new thread and after 30 minutes still cannot figure out how to do it. I stumbled into it the other day starting this thread, but cannot seem to stumble the same way today. Why isn't there an obvious linked called "new thread"? Never mind, just venting. Can someone please tell me how to start a new discussion thread?

On the bottom of my IPhone screen is a small ‘New Topic’ icon to click on and start a new thread.

+1. Hard on the differential for sure.
