C912 light bulb replacement suggestions.

Our 2012 Bay Star interior lighting uses c912 bulbs and each fixture has two bulbs with off white shades. I would like to make the lighting a little brighter but retain warm lighting and not going too white such as daylight bulbs. Can anyone suggest replacements? Thanks in advance for your help.

A couple options come to mind.
The 912 bulb is 12 CP (Candle Power)
The 922 bulb is 15 CP
The 921 bulb is 21 CP.
All three bulbs are wedge base design and will readily interchange. The same physical size.
These bulbs should cost around $1.00 each and are available at most automotive parts stores. Quite common bulbs for interior lighting, trunk, under hood and back up lamps.
The parts store counterman may have a chart which would show even higher CP's available in the same configuration.

You might consider changing them to LEDs if you are going to make them brighter.. The LEDs will wont get as hot as the incandescent bulbs..

I replaced all my 921s with LEDS. I used warm white, this is about the same color as the incandescent bulb.. I bought them on e-bay. I think I paid about $1 each..

These are polarity sensitive, so it they don't work, unplug them, and flip them around in the socket..

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll try the LED bulbs and see if they will do the trick.
