cable tv reset

We have a win sightseer but can not seem to get the cable from the camp ground does anyone know how to fix this is there a reset

On your TV menu there should be a setup function., do an auto channel search, should pick them up. If that doesnt work check to see if you have a device switch and that it is on the right position for your TV., the switch might have selections for recieving the signal from the cable or your antenna or vcr/dvd player.

A little more info from you would help! What make and model & yr RV, TV, Ant, Selector switch, ect.

Some RVs have the BOMB (box of many buttons) some just have the Ant Booster box (the light needs to be off for cable).

once you check the box go to the menu on the tv and turn the tv to cable NOT air and then scan you will have the channels the park offers

You also need to make sure the Winegard wall switch is off (if you have one).That switches from the batwing antenna to the cable in.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As mentioned, these problems are usually caused by not having the TV set to receive cable and by not doing a channel scan. I've never heard of a "reset" on cable connections.

It would help you get faster, more precise responses if you added the year, make and model of your RV in your signature line. You can do that via the User Control Panel (CP).
