Campground Port Charlotte
Can anyone recommend a campground in the Port Charlotte Florida area. My wife is a travel nurse and will be working there Jan through April. Thanks for the help.

We are staying at the Mayakka River Motorcoach Resort during that same period, a bit pricy but really nice.

Stayed at Harbor Lakes. Nice campground. Huge sites, like 100x100! Mostly open not much shade. Also stayed at Ramblers Rest near Venice. Nice.

Riverside RV
Riverside RV is about 5km east of I75 on Kings Hwy in Port Charlotte.
Nice park, big sites and lots of activities.
It has an Arcadia address but is actually about 30kms from there.

Riverside campground
Riverside is a very nice campground, drove through last winter. Our winter home is near there and we were just curious. The campground is about 5 miles east of Hwy 75 on the Kings Highway which would place you about ten miles from the hospital in Port Charlotte. Not totally sure of the miles but it is a good estimate. we stayed at Ramblers Rest. just north of North Port. Check It out. Short drive up 41 but reasonable. I would let you stay at our place in Port Charlotte but they don't let people sleep in the MH in that town.. We do have water and 50 amp at our house.

Better book something soon. We are in Harbor Lakes and were up in the office extending our stay for a couple of weeks, the woman at the front office said they were full for Jan and Feb.
