Can I fit a couch through the door of a class A pusher?

Like the title says, we're looking at a Class A diesel pusher that has an open area in the floor plan that could accommodate a sofa. I believe the furniture is installed at the factory before all the walls go up etc so my question is can we squeeze a sofa through a front door or how can we get this done?

I believe most RV sofas can be disassembled.

Most new furniture is built in components. The base and back are separate pieces that are easily assembled. When shopping ask this question and tell them you don’t want it assembled.

So motorhome-centric furniture yes, but residential furniture likely not?

Maybe, maybe not. The only way to tell is to measure. How wide is the door? How wide is the sofa when you stand it on the front of the seat cushion? Recliner sofas come with removable backs.

It is possible if you find one with the right dimensions. You would need to explore furniture stores with a tape measure. Remember that the door probably opens only to the straight out position. You may be able to remove the bar that stops that though. Couches that have legs on them are often easier to fit. Keep in mind that you are going to need to bolt or otherwise secure it to keep it in place in a crash.

Consider removing a window to get it in. Not too hard to do, more room but higher up.

We bought a new recliner sofa and had it delivered, there was no issue getting it into the coach. The back of the sofa seats were removable, the two delivery fellas had no issues at all.

We have two three-piece theater seating groups with electric foot and back recline in our home. Came in six pieces - 3 bases and 3 uppers that interlock together. Would fit through our Class A door no problem.

We also have RV theater seating in the RV - came in with no issue and was assembled inside.

Yes, OP has to ask the question to be sure. Heck, bring the RV to the furniture store and let them install it and avoid any deliver charge! Granted, OP will have to do the final bolting to the floor - but that's after it's inside and assembled...

A few weeks ago I put a residential refrig in through the living room window. It took about 20 minutes to take the window out and another 20 minutes to put it back.

I also just put this loveseat in the living room and did this myself. It came in the 23" front door easily once broken down. It is a wall hugger and non-electric and was about $900 from Rooms to go. The RV versions seemed to be much higher in price. I had bought one like it from Recpro 2 years ago and the false leather simply flaked off. Money down the drain.

I replaced my very uncomfortable and heavy sleeper sofa with a LaZBoy reclining love seat. The RV sleeper sofa was a PITA to remove. The new love seat was very easy to install. The back came off. And because the entire unit was lighter it was easy to bring in and install.
With a DP, if you have a frt entrance door, you may need to remove the passenger seat to bring the old one out and then we one in.

Love Sac makes furniture that comes in pieces. We have a couch that is now two years old. Very comfortable and there is storage in the seat bottoms. Washable covers.

As Kohoona stated go through a window if you can't remove the back of the sofa. We had refrigerator installed by removing just the emergency window without removing the window frame good luck with it
