Can’t find the leak!

We are on our maiden voyage in our 2011 Winnebago Adventurer 35P and have a leak in front of the couch coming from the floor. I have removed the floor under the sink and it is dry. I checked underneath in the storage bins and they are dry too. We are up to city water and everything else functions as it should. Her is a pic of where the water leak is. Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS!

Is it coming from the floor or under the couch? Have you looked behind/under it to see if there are any water lines?

Appears the sofa is on a slide out and the carpet is wet in front of the sofa?

If possible reach under sofa and check for wetness and point of origin. After use wet dry vacuum to pull out water. Possible slide out leak. Could be top or side seals. Water heater leak?

Is the water spot directly below the air conditioner?

It could be condensation from the air conditioner or a leak around the air conditioner mounting gasket.

Sherpa Vern is right about the AC gasket leak! We found both AC units on our ‘02 coach, bought used in 2021) to be totally loose.

There is a procedure for tightening the AC unit mounting bolts - don’t just tighten them down. Get the unit installation manual to find the proper method of tightening.

So our "leak" under the sofa ended up being bad spot in the seal of the slide out window...leaked into the frame and came out under the sofa...might want to check that if you have window next to sofa....
had to cut into the wall to remove all the soaked insulation and let the wall dry out...

For certain check your window drains.

Many have small 1” x 1/8” slots at the bottom of the window that get clogged. They may not look clogged, but they get clogged.

I’ve described how to clean on other threads in this forum.

Some window manufacturers provide slot covers for their drains - you want to be certain to remove the cover to insure the drains are clear.

I fought this on our previous coach - something that caused significant hidden damage to the coach interior prior to our getting the coach for cheap.

Is the wall wet to the right of the sofa? If the floor there is wet the wall will suck up water through capillary action.

Something else,,,,

Maiden voyages are best done in your driveway over a couple days, especially on used rigs or after servicing at least a couple weeks before a trip

I have a big trip planned for July and August. All systems except the hw heater and plumbing have been tested already (have not dewinterized yet). But it's been hot enough to test the generator, ac, refrigerator freezer, and slide outs.

Another thing you could do is switch from city to coach water pump and listen for the pump to cycle on and off indicating a leak in your plumbing somewhere.

You haven't said if it's raining or when it last rained so a good idea to check your water pressure now.

Being on city water, it is very hard to tell when it is pressurizing.

Thank you for all the advice. I have narrowed it down to the A/C lines.

? Condensate?

MoHo/RV rooftop AC units don’t typically have condensate lines. But they are known to drip condensate when the condensate drains get plugged with dirt/dust (and other somewhat disgusting elements better left undefined here, but easily washed out with coil cleaner).
