Can we go yet, Can we go yet, Can we go yet, Can we go yet, Can we go yet

Ok so were like kids waiting to go the the carnival. We picked up our new to us 2004 Damon Challenger 353. Was nervous at first but after about 2 minutes behind the wheel all I can say is SWEET!!!!!!!! . She rode great on the 6 new Sumitomo tires. Were going to try and get a weekend trip in next weekend with the 4X4 in back. I told the wife my first hour driving I got to drive at night be on I95 be in rush hour traffic, then be on narrow winding country roads and get it down my stone driveway. Now tomorrow try and remember how to work everything.

It is like being a little kid isn't it? I love driving mine as much as camping.

I know how you feel my family purchase our first "new to us" MH in March. It's a 2002 Damon. We too live in the Southside of Richmond. We went camping 8 times over the summer including Pocahontas Park. I just winterizer on Monday and put her to bed.

Yep, I know exactly how you feel! We got our Windsor last year and immediately left on a 7000 mile trip out west! We loved it!

You'll do fine. Just take it slow and easy and learn all the little quirks. Above all, just enjoy the experience and deal with any challenges as they show up!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Great to be a kid again, love it, can't get enough, leaving just before Christmas to visit the kids.

Yep we spent the day cleaning it in every crack we could get to. Fans, vents, floor, dash everything. Gonna take it to busco beach NC next weekend pulling our 4 wheelers then put her to sleep and ready for winter after that.

I share your excitement. First time behind the wheel without a salesman was GREAT! We bought our 35 footer in NH and drove home 100 miles on country roads and interstates. Best ride ever. We went camping three times this past summer and had no regrets. She's winterized now but sometimes I go sit in it and ask Can we go yet?
