Hi Everybody,
I am interested in replacing the captains chairs in our 2005 Dutch Star. Our current Flexsteel chairs show a lot of wear and are getting a bit wobbly.

Some friends of ours have some Villa chairs no order. I am wondering if there are other options for good quality chairs. Does anyone have any ideas?

There's a company on Ebay that deals with new (pulls) and used captains chairs, I've seen both flexsteel and Villa.

A number of people have used second row pullout captains chairs from Toyota Sienna handicap conversions for class A captains chairs. If you google it I am sure you will find some of the before and after conversion photos.

I'd suggest checking with braddandhall.com and see what they offer. They are very good about giving honest advice on products.

Another option is to have your chairs reupholstered and replace the bases if necessary to fix the wobbling issue. It would be cheaper than new seats.

Thank you for the responses. It seems, so far, without going to a conversion of some sort, Flexsteel and Villa are the only viable choices.

Didn't Flexsteel get out of the RV furniture market? Seems like I remember reading something about that a few months ago.

Yes. We have contacted Brad and Hall by email to see what they have to say. We bought a love seat through them last fall. It has been great!

Talk with Stephanie at Brad and hall.com. The Flexsteel captains chairs are not cheap. I think the run about $700 or $800 each. I think Flexsteel got out of the RV furniture business but Bradandhall will direct you to the right place

Thanks. We dealt with Stephanie last fall for another piece of furniture. We have contacted her. They are taking no new orders till September. The way things are going, I am sure this will be a project for next year.
