Carefree One Touch problem

Carefree stopped making the One Touch patio awning in 2004. One of my top bracket shims (there are two) has been lost. I've tried PPL, CW, and a couple of dealers with no success. If someone knows where I can find a shim or even a damaged One Touch awning that may still have the shim please let me know. Thanks

Sorry you're having trouble with the OneTouch, Kix. I'm not even sure what the top bracket shims are, but my OneTouch parts are long gone. If you end up having to replace it, the Eclipse arms kit we put on ours a year ago is really super ...works better than our OneTouch ever did. We used the original tube & fabric as it was in great shape. It added a switch outside on the bottom of the front leg. We paid a little extra for special finish arms to better match our paint. Our cost was $1,328.95 for the arms kit, plus tax & shipping.

Thanks for the info, Paul......I'll keep it in mind.
The shim I am missing is part of the bracket that attaches the rafter tot he side of the motorhome at the roof gutter. It's used to space the bracket out from the motorhome body. If anyone even thinks they have one please let me know.
