Carpet Installer??

I'm in need of new carpet and wanted to know if anyone has used a company named "Re-Carpet Your RV?" They are in Yalaha, Florida which is northwest of Orlando. My original carpet is being pushed inward when the slides come in. This causes a ripple in the carpet on both sides of the floor. Any suggestions?

We are not in Florida (until Nov.) but we called a local carpet guy and I asked if they did RVs. He said yeas and we had him send a guy out to measure and give us an estimate. Including the carpet and pad it was something like $1900 depending on the carpet we pick out. I asked them a couple of times if they have done RVs before to make sure this wasn't their "learning process".

Long story short, you could try calling some local carpet outfits to get an estimate just to see if Re-carpet your RV is in the ball park. We have friends in Florida that had an RV dealership do theirs and it was more expensive for a smaller class A with no slides than our estimate with three slides.

Send a message via AIM to TurtleKent
Verify that your slides are adjusted properly before spending the $$ on new carpet.
