Carpet runner

Has anyone tried nailing the carper runner down the center of a class A motorhome. I am not sure if the floor underlayment is wood. I am thinking of using upholstery tacks. The nonslip products just don't work well with carpet on carpet. I have an 2005 Tiffin and the living room is carpet. There is tile at the entrance and in the kitchen.

I would try the double-sided carpet tape. We use that for the carpet pads in the cockpit area and they stay in place very well.

Carpet may be sewed to carpet with proper carpet thread and curved needles to hook through the lower carpet.

Screws may work better than nails for such a soft joint in questionable situations.

Try "Alien" Tape. No sticky mess, replaces easily. Jim
