Cat 3126E. 2003 DS Freighliner chassis

Im trying to locate the water separator or 2nd fuel filter mounting point.
The primary spin on fuel filter is located on passenger side, on engine side of rear compartment which is the battery bay.
Does anyone know where the 2nd filter is located?

Good chance it's on the side of the engine , are you able to see the valve cover , from the access panel in the bedroom ?

This picture shows it , below the red circle , that would have been a manual fuel pump for priming the fuel system.
Could also be visible from underneath, just past the air compressor.

Just check the MH and that looks like it. Looks to be 12" long and I believe I can get that loose with a strap wrench from underneath.
Just by chance there wasn't a part number accompany that picture, was there?

This isn't a picture of a 3126 B or E , but a C-7 , My on engine fuel filter was moved by a previous owner , and I kept this photo from another post .

If you have your engine serial number( off the valve cover tag ) you could try the Cat RV hotline , I haven't phoned them in years so this might not be a good number any more.

EDIT; BTW; all motor homes will have one fuel filter , most have two , some have a third , pictures in this post will show you where to look , the third filter on my chassis had been removed.

We have an 03 3126E on a freightliner chassis and I only have the one fuel filter/separator. It's located on the passenger side rear on the radiator.
