Catch yourself doing something stupid.

Have you ever caught yourself doing something that was really stupid with your MH? For the last two years we have been taking our Granddaughter and her Golden Retriever with us when we camp. (raising our Granddaughter now) ...... I have been putting a cable trolley attatched to the rear ladder and the nearest tree, for the dog to run on. I can get plenty of height that way so the cable will not hit someone in the head. Anyway, last weekend I looked that the setup and realized just what would happen if I accidently forgot it and drove off. The ladder would be ripped out of the fiberglass rood, the brackest would be torn out of the back of the MH, probably crack the rear window and ruin the ladder along with who knows what! Dumb, dumb, dumb I will not do that again.

First off, we NEVER tie the dogs out. They are with us on a leash. In the wilderness areas, you have a lot of wild animals wondering through.

The first time we took out M/H out for a propane refill I forgot the antenna. The trees on the private road our place is on reminded me pretty quick, but too late..

We put the dog out when he is doing his business during the day and when we are around the campfire. He's got too much hair to be around a fire. Not very many wild critters where we go. The wildest are the young kids.

Attach the ignition key to the dog run. Then you won't forget it

Don't feel bad about it. We all have those moments when we look at ourselves and wonder.
