CB2 reset switch

Hello, THank you to those of you who posted how to get the starter out of a National Marlin RV Generac Generator. You were right it is a bear.

My question is that I do not have power to the starter and according to some of the materials there is an indication there is a reset switch somewhere under the generator and near the hydraulic pump for the levelers. Anyone know where it is or if there is something else I should look for? I just bought this RV two weeks ago. It is a 2001 National Marlin 37' on a Spartan Chassis. Thanks for any help.

Circuit breakers are , or should always be, close to the power source.

You need to look close to the battery that starts the generator.

If you don’t find a disconnect or resettable relay as twinboat suggests my recommendation would be to start at the starter wire on our generator and trace back to its origin. If you don’t find a reset or switch you possibly could have a corroded or faulty connection. One other option is check to see if you are properly grounded. Some starters have a separate ground wire.

Not sure how you are diagnosing your power cable that’s why I suggested the ground.

If your Battery Control Center (BCC) is like mine the CB2 circuit breaker is for the power to the generator and jacks. It is on the backside of the BCC circuit board. The drawing says button it is actually a lever that needs to be pushed up to reset the breaker.

thanks and another question

Hi,thank you for the info on the CB2 reset lever. I would never have found it. Does anyone have pictures and/or a wiring diagram for the starter wiring for the starter and the connections on the crossmember that connect the coach and the starter? Thanks
