Ceiling Mold...help

Several weeks ago our slide topper leaked when retracting one of the slides, lesson learned...get water off topper b4 bringing in slides.
I've since noticed pink mold on the slide ceiling. I'm assuming the water got into the interior foam ceiling! What should I do now??
We are full timers staying in the Anaheim CA area

Some pictures of specifics and overall would help to diagnose.

Your slide toppers are just for keeping sticks and leaves and anything else that falls onto of it and when you retrack your slide the garbage is suppose to fall off the top of the slide along with water also, Alot of RV's don't have toppers and should not leak and your slide must have a problem somewhere if water got inside. You should be able to remove your topper and water should not leak inside. Like Les stated a photo would help us to see what is going on.

If water ends up actually sitting on your slide cover, it is likely that the tension is not set correctly. They should be snug but not too tight as to draw the top of the slide in when extending. There should also be a slope to it so that water drains off. If you are seeing mold on the inside ceiling of the slide, this is a failure of the slide "skin" itself. I would be looking for some failed sealant on the seams of the slide.
As for the interior, more info is needed.

As stated by dogpatch (this is a failure of the slide "skin" itself) You have a seam that has failed because the toppers just make things look good, plus I think they are a pain. Just something to add to the old money pit. We had a 03 Alpenlite 5er 3 slide with NO toppers and never had a slide leak.
This may help some.
