Centramatic Wheel Balancer Question
For my 2006 F-53 19.5" Motorhome, Centramatic say I need the 400-423 on the rear.
I do not have valve extensions and just put my hand through the outer wheel hole and screw on my TST sensors. This solution would put an additional barrier with a hole for me to go through. I can barely do it now without these. Do you think these would allow it? Or are they only intended for those with valve extensions. They said they can get their hand through it.
Trying to decide between these and Dyna Beads. Dyna Beads make a larger bead that does not require special valve cores.
thanks,

I was advised not to use beads with TPMS. I use centramatic on the steer tires only. On the advice of the owner of a similar coach as mine, I don't balance the drive tires, never had an issue.

My opinion is the Centramatics are hands down better but do cost a lot more. You will not have an issue with the valve stems and will work as they are now. The Centramatics can easily be used on your next coach on your next coach if the wheels are the same and if not there is always the Craigslist option.

As long as you have the wheels off to install the Centramatics, have them add a long valve stem to the inner dual so it exits out past the outer dual. No more messing with reaching your hand through.

Centramatics made a huge improvement in ride for my Bounder 35k. I have valve extensions… definitely worth it.

Long valve stem not an extension. Mine are 9" I believe.

I have Centramatics on my steers. My take is that they are good up to about 60-65 mph but I start to feel some vibration above that. Since we're mostly at 65 or below I live with it, but if there were someone in my area who would balance 22.5" tires I would probably just do that and remove the Centramatics.

I had mine balanced and then added Centramatics. I thinks that’s the best way. Just balancing will change as the rubber wears. The Centramatic will then keep them on balance.

On our MH I use Centramatics and added Borg one piece valve steps for my TPMS. I will not use any valve extensions.
On our 5th wheeler and the tow truck I use beads. They work great.

Even though Centramatic says it's not necessary. I believe this is the correct way to install Centramatics. Even if they only static balance the tires, it gets you close. Some 22.5 tires can take up to 6-7 ounces of weight. Why make the Centramatic try to correct that? To me, they're more designed for fine tuning the ride.

Agreed. I spoke to their VP and he said it was fine, as long as I understood how Centramatics worked. If later the balance falls off I would need to rebalance. He agreed that the Centramatics can only fix so much, so balancing first is fine.
