CH 751 key/compartment lock

I found 2 CH751 silver keys on the key rings that came with my 2005 Airstream 396 XL Class A DP that I bought last year. These keys do not go to the storage compartment TriMark locks that are original to the coach. I can't find any other compartment(s) that would have a lock that these keys would go to. Any thoughts, thanks

On my MH the CH-751 key goes to a lock on the water fill door. I have a wet bay with a city water hose connection. In addition, I have a small door at the rear of the MH on the passenger side that gives me access to the water tank so I can add sanitizers to the water tank.

Maybe the previous owner had those keys so he could open the storage doors on 95% of the fifth wheels and TT's around him.

That is a generic lock.

Generators and utility trucks also use them.

Common off the shelf hardware used caused this.

Old motorola radio cabinet keys fit older parking meters and gumball machines too

Yup ... On mine, it's the fuel fill and the water fill.

That is it, "water fill door". I remember now when I picked up the coach the tech told me this is the key to the water fill door on the passenger side. Then he showed me the valve in the wet bay that I could open to fill fresh water tank while hooked up to city water. I never open the water fill door after that.

I will keep in on the ring for sanitizing the tank as you you said. Glad to solve that mystery. Thanks everyone.

I was looking for some blank keys for the Tri/Mark storage locks to have a couple of spares made. These are the brass keys with the black plastic overlay at the top. So I searched for the Tri/Mark code stamped on the key. Don't need blanks just order pre-cut Tri/Mark keys about $5.00 each, free shipping. Now that is convenient. I hope the bad guys don't know about this. I don't know how many codes are available but someone could order a bunch of these and just try a few until the doors open. I am sure no one does that. Right?

And ... there will be a day when you are filling the tank from a 5 gallon bucket ... trust me ... and you will need a funnel

Yup ... your compartments are not secure ... A key or a crowbar fits them all. Your entry door is slightly better but a hammer to any window and ....

Pretty much the same as a house.
