Changing out front seats (driver & passenger) in our 2009 Knight

Looking for information on changing out the front seats in our coach. We have been given seats from a 2007 Dynasty, and would like to put them in our 09 Knight. Anyone have Knowledge / experience with this type of modification? Our seats are Flexstee,l with the seatbelt attaching to the wall. The Dynasty seats have the seatbalts built in to them. I also have the Dynasty seat pedestals. Would appreciate any information. Thanks, Gary

I order for the seat belt to actually be safe would require a complete set of braces under the floor.

Basically re-engineering the coach design.

On your Knight, Is the right side drivers belt attached to the floor or the seat?

Get your Knight seats re-upholstered at a local shop. You can order better 'covers' i.e. leather, ultra leather, etc. from Flexsteel and put the 'covers' on yourself. So they told us, but we had it done at a local upholstery shop and very glad we did--it is a job and they have steam machines to puff out the foam again. I watched and would not attempt it myself. $800, and Flexsteel gave us the covers for free. They did not have to as no warranty, but clearly there was a problem with the 'leatherette' crumbling off.

Forgot to mention the $800 also included the couch--and the two chairs. Flexsteel asked that we ship some portions of the defective leatherette back to them and we did so. We could have paid Flexsteel $1800 for ultraleather covers, but chose the free replacement leatherette. Good luck.
