I HAVE....Former coach was a plop & gravity drop.. no issues, Current coach has the Magnum-Opus vacuum system.. Learned a good (but somewhat messy) lesson about TP that did not immediately shred/dissolve.. plugged the duckbill valves and wadded up inside the pump bellows..

I buy a case (96 rolls) of Dometic 2 Ply marine/RV paper for $86.00. Never have to worry about the issues of Charmin or the other household brands...

After an issue with RV toilet paper getting stuck in the gate and thinking we had a worse issue and taking it apart we decided no more toilet paper in the tank. We keep a small, sealed trash can next to the toilet, problem solved! And we spent less on TP!

Charmin TP works great

We have been RVing for over 40 years and have always used Charmin at home and on the road. We have never had a problem flushing or draining the black water tank.

Also, our current home of 5 years has a septic system. No problems there either.

Macerators

I’ve had two macerators because for one month we are in my sons back yard in Florida and I have to pump my tanks 75ft. The first one just quit and the second one just seems to bog down being only 12 volt so i built one from a garbage disposer, Thanks to Utube, $100.00 total and runs on 120 VAC works way better.

I would like to hear from motorhomers who have actually used the Charmin in their MHs, how it worked in the black tanks. Being stronger is nice for work down south if you know what I mean, but worries me as to black tank clogs.

I know about lots of water. I know about the shake the jar test. I just want to hear real world stories. Thanks.
I saw a video where Charmin actually broke down better and faster than RV toilet paper. Walex BOI-11530 Bio-Pak Natural Holding Tank Deodorizer and Waste Digester claims no specil TP needed so I switched to that and will use the Charmin my wife loves just as soon as the rest is gone.

Charmin is great, we only add Blue Dawn, no need for anything else.

I can only offer that you want a paper that starts to break down fast with the addition of water... so I guess with the TP shortage that leaves out the Sear Catalog pages or worse a corn cobb !!!!!

I liked and responded to your post before I even saw where you live! Where in SW Oregon? I was born in Union Creek, and raised in Ashland, K Falls, Gilchrist and Chemult. My dad was a forest ranger. My last residence there was in Sisters. You're the only one here on this post that seems to know about recycling and conserving.
