I was going to guess it was a gasser but see that it's DP on a Freightliner chassis. Typically, the issue will be overinflated tires. Often the manufacturer/dealer inflates the tires to maximum capacity which can make it ride like a tank. You need to get the coach weighed, determining the front and rear axle weights. Getting all four corners weighed is best, but not that easy to do. At minimum, most scales can weigh the axles.
Once you have the weights, determine what tires you have and then look online for the tire company. They will tell you, via an inflation chart, what air pressure you need to set the tires for the weight on that axle/tire for your particular coach. Your fronts may be currently set at 100 psi, but your coach may only need 90 psi in the fronts. 10 psi will make for a harsh ride.
Not much else can be adjusted on a DP to change the ride with one exception. A DP has what is called a ride height setting. When the airbags are fully inflated on flat ground, they are supposed to be set at a specific height (adjustment). This adjustment or height is what makes the coach sit "balanced" front to rear. If that balance is off and the ride height is out of adjustment, it can make for a rough ride. However, this is not very common.
