Cheap Propane

Just had the house tank filled, and while the delivery truck was here had him fill the MH too. Around here in western NY the cheapest I'd found it was $3.00gl. Price from the home delivery truck $1.99

When we were in TN propane was just a little over $2 at the pump. The problem is that some of the seasonal neighbors that were staying where we spent a week, the local propane company would deliver to residences, but would not fill a MH, even though they drive right on past the park.

So those that needed LPG either had to take their MH to the pump in town or get themselves some larger bottles to haul back and forth. Some were using 100# bottles, others slightly smaller and had them connected into their system. A real PITA during winter, but that's a choice they made.

Fortunately, for the coach, I buy propane every 3 years or so.

We just filled the home LP tank and had the MH tank topped off for a $1.39 per gallon.

At the Texas Parks which I have stayed in for the past 7 years, the LP Company will fill your MH tank onsite. Eddie Elk.

Yep, about the same here, although I did top off a couple months ago for the winter. Took about 11 gallons after two years and we have a 32 gal usable tank.
