Thanks in advance.

I have, with my Thor Axis and Toad.
Its a 2 lane, each direction highway, except the two tunnels. They are single lane, two way traffic.
They only ask that you turn off the propane. I comply.

Been through it twice in my old DS it was easy. As mentioned, you have to turn your propane off.

Just sharing this piece of information in case it may be of use to you . . .
There is a very large parking lot at the north end of the CBBT directly across from the toll booths that is used by truckers and RVers. The lot is easily accessible from the main road whether you're northbound or southbound, there is plenty of room to spread out and restrooms are available. We have overnighted here in the past and would do so again.
Enjoy your travels!

Yes. Hold on tight to the steering wheel when a semi passes! The piston effect makes for an interesting ride (just like any 2-lane tunnel I guess).

Tunnel
Thanks for the info. I was mainly concerned about the height . . . not much room to spare!

Forewarning, anyone having experienced a motion sickness episode should carry some sort of medication for it when crossing the Bay Bridge highway. We lived in Virginia Beach, VA for seven years and many of our friends from north of the bay traveled the scenic route that took them across the bridge/tunnel highway. Some of them experienced motion sickness. There are sections that imitate ocean ground swells.

If you have a 102" wide coach, be sure to bring your mirrors in. They have cement filled 6" posts at the toll booth that are not as far apart as some mirrors are. They do a good job breaking the mirrors.

Sorry, but I don't agree with Chet, above. A couple of points. To cross you need to have your propane cylinders closed BEFORE you hit the toll booths. There's wide spots before the booth where you can pull to the side to close your valves. As far as the toll lane width's, this could be a problem for inexperienced drivers. The far right hand toll booths are wider than the others (both north and south bound) so if you can, use them. For some stupid reason, the toll takers sometimes close these booths while the narrow ones are open. If that happens you'll have to use the narrow lanes, but they are doable. Just remember to SLOW DOWN if you don't want to hit a mirror. I don't mean to 10mph, 5mph or even 1mph, I mean BABY CRAWL speed. Ignore the people behind, and use your 4 way flashers so you can back straight up a foot or two if you find you're out of position when you get to the first bollards. I've done the narrow lanes numerous times in 40' and 43' Tiffin Buses, but they are intimidating if you are not used to tight clearances. The tunnel clearances are more than adequate if you don't insist on riding the right shoulder. Middle or left side of your lane is fine, but right shoulder could give you grief. Other than that, enjoy the ride. It's truly unique.

Sounds like you agree with Chet - there could be minimum side clearance at the toll booths.
