Choosing hardwood flooring

Maybe this has been covered in earlier threads, but I seem incapable of finding any!

Looking for someone who has upgraded an RV to hardwood from linoleum and carpet.

I have a 2001 HR Ambassador DP.
I want to strip out the carpet and linoleum to replace with waterproof hardwood (vinyl unless I learn that's a bad idea!)

Does anyone have any gotcha's or other info including best way to choose the flooring? I am thinking waterproof vinyl, no idea if it should be snap together or adhesive, etc.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Just our experience, we updated our mh with lvp ( luxury vinyl planking ) that is glued down. We love it and it's easy to keep clean.

I am thinking of doing this, but wondered if it gets too cold to walk on bare feet during cold mornings.
