Class A Chassis Delivery and Cost Info?

Is there a public source for the quantities of Class A chassis actually delivered by the various manufacturers, particularly by model?

Is there any info on what the manufacturers typically pay for a given model of chassis, or is this industry confidential?

I am interested to see what has been going on overall in the past few years. I was always intrigued by the Freightliner FRED chassis, but it seems that only a few coaches are built on it now. Was it a lot more costly than the gas options? How about the Workhorse D models? How do they compare and are there many out there? Is cost the reason for so few front engine diesel coach options?

I just like to have some facts to consider if/when I go looking for that next coach.

Well, I found this browsing the eBay RVs. Only asking $9800 for it, but I don't have time to finish it (joke). A 24k Ford chassis with aluminum wheels.

PROUD TO PRESENT TO YOU THIS 2008 FORD F53 INCOMPLETE CHASSIS. THIS IS A BRAND NEW UNIT THAT IS STILL ON THE MANUFACTORS CERTIFICATE OF ORGIN. THE MSRP ON A NEW ONE IS $25,635, AND A INVOICE OF $21768, SO THIS IS A VERY GOOD DEAL FOR SOMEONE! IT IS A 242" MODEL WITH A GVW OF 24,000LB. IT IS POWERED BY A 6.8L V10 ENGINE AND A AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT HAS DUAL REAR WHEELS WITH ALUMINUM ALCOA OUTSIDE WHEELS AND STEEL INNER WHEELS, WITH 22.5" MICHELIN TIRES.
