Class A DP Comfortable Cruising Speed?
What is a comfortable speed on the interstate that you feel and your coach feels is a good cruising speed on a long distance? I know there are a lot of variables as to each person would have their own comfort level but more interested in knowing what the coach is comfortable with without really having to push it and having to really " drive it ". I hope the question makes sense. Thanks

On the interstate, 65 MPH. It kind of drives itself. On back roads that are twisty turny, much less speed and much more work for driver..

Though we have gone faster, I have discovered that 62 MPH is a great speed. It is relatively quiet, many of the squeaks and clunks seem to diminish, and I feel like I have good control.

Around 65-68 for me often tucked in behind some trucks around same speed. I have been faster esp. when passing but can feel road grip lessen around 72. Of course slower with strong wind, rain, or snow. Also depends on road, 60 was too fast near home this past spring because of all the pot holes! I kept getting on rumble strips and wife did not understand at time about the potholes since it was dark.

I set cruise control at 62-64 mph. My toad is limited to be towing at max speed of 65, but I’d probably still only go 62-65 even if I didn’t have that limit.

60-62 for the wife and I we're retired so there's no need to rush anywhere these days.

Amazing the first number that came to my mind was 62. Seems fairly common amongst a few of us!

I run the speed limit up to 70 mph. However, fuel mileage suffers badly above 65.
