Class A Front License Plate in OH
We have to have front license plates here in OH, but not sure if that is a requirement for Class A motorhomes. Our coach didn't have a place to install one in the front so I had to rig something that looks okay, but I rather not have it.

Maryland has the front tag requirement as well. I just used ty-wraps and fixed it to the grill. Not the best look but better than a ticket.

That is exactly what I did, four zip ties on the lower grill.

You may as well pick up a bracket for the license plate because it will always be a must in Ohio.

I personally would contact the Ohio DMV to get accurate info on legalities for proper licensing.

If you were issued two license plates when you registered the coach, then it is a requirement that both be displayed, one on the front and one on the rear.

Here ya go. Although there's still a bill pending in the OH House to change this to rear plates only, but law enforcement is fighting it.

Thanks. I was hoping for an exception to Class A.

I am from Ohio and I am going against the grain on this one. I don't consider my self a law breaker....but our class A and our collector cars DO NOT have front licence plates on them. I have never been pulled over for not having it. I suppose it would be brought up if I was pulled over for something else. I always carry my front plate with me.

Good to hear. I find it hard to believe that an officer would pull over a MH especially since 99.9% of us do not speed and any swerving is caused by strong winds...well, like I said 99.9% of us.

I just put a holder on the front and thru bolted it. Very easy to attach the plate then.
