Class A MH Servicer needed near Detroit, MI

Hello, We are brand new owners of a 2019 Entegra Coach Vision 29S. There is little documentation as to the maintenance done previously and I would like to get it checked out. But I am having difficulty getting information on local (Detroit area) service providers for the chassis and engine. I have to believe they exist and would like to find a reliable one. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

Can you give us the chassis manufacturer?

eta: I just looked it up and it appears it's an F53? ...with a Triton 6.8L V10?

2nd edit: If you do have an F53 with a Triton V10, I believe that somebody posted some time ago that not all Ford commercial truck dealer service centers would be able or willing to service and do warranty repairs on motorhomes.

If you are like some who prefer to take it to a dealer, you can call the number on this webpage below and they will supposedly give you options in your area for service and warranty work:

Where can I get my Ford chassis motorhome serviced?

However, if you're like me and prefer to use an independent shop rather than service centers owned by the manufacturer, I'd look for a local shop that has a good reputation when it comes to working on trucks or other heavier equipment that will not be adverse to servicing motorhomes. If you're close to Farmington Hills, this shop has a relatively good reputation and I have spoken with several who in the past have had them do work on their motorhome:

You can use this link to find Ford service centers. Put in zip code then you can use the "advanced filters" button to choose class a motorhome.

The problem with that link is that there was a previous thread (I may search for it later) that said that many or most of the Ford dealers listed --even the ones where "MOTORHOMES - CLASS A" was checked-- either refused to work on motorhomes or didn't want to work on them. Don't ask me why. But sure, you could go through and call each dealership and ask.

That's why I posted what Ford replied when somebody asked the question. They said to call: (800) 444-3311

I have used Emergency Fleet Services in Warren for the last twenty years, both for my tractor trailer service and also my Fleetwood F-53 V-10 motor home. Family owned and great staff to work with.

I had issue with my HR Motorhome. I was able to get my coach in and repaired and even then they were able to fix a Ford rear axle recall. Elder Ford in Troy Mi. call them and talk to to Greg 248-7807762. Good Luck
