We carry a mounted spare, and tools to change it out. In the basement.

I have been thinking about carrying a spare but changed my mind due to tire size, 295/R80 22.5, just can not find room, was thinking about having the toad carry it but at 75 yrs old not sure I can lift it.

Rexhall Aerbus 3550 BSL. 19.5 in wheels
19.5" wheels and we carry a spare which we replaced with new tire when the others were replaced.

The question should be "How are you going to get the replacement spare tire up there" as the bad one can go in the back of the toad until properly disposed of. I use my 30A extension power cord and pull it up the the back using the ladder to keep it off the MH.

Guess you did not read to the end of my post..."Wrapped the tire in alum foil and plastic to protect it."...all of it, not just the inside.

Outbound.....buy a mounted spare and have them put it in your GMC and call roadside assistance to change it, if it comes to that.
