I showed it to my DW and told her that I'd do this for her just before we'd have to buy a wheelbarrow to roll her up into the MH.

Yes it is schedule 40 1 1/4" with a peace of 1" alum. conduit inside for reinforcement on the upright.

Nice job! I may need to add some entry assistance in the near future. Just a couple questions: Did you make it so it can be easily removed? I see the clamp on the motorhome's grasp handle and it made me ask the question. What hardware did you use to attach the steps to the motorhome?

Yes it is collapsible it has pins in joints so it can be taken apart. It is attached to MH handle by splitting a pvc tee into with padding. If I do another one I think I would use sc 120 instead of 40. Thanks for the comments.

One question: If the MH is not on level ground, can the steps and assist handle adjust to varying heights of the front end?
