Class A Storage

I finally found an available spot to park our Class A in the Phoenix area. A covered spot with 20 amp 110v power. We need the spot Mid November for about 5 months. The only way I could have the spot is if I pay for October.

Is this the norm? I'm not a last minute type person but do I wait until end of October to reserve or should I be prepared to pay for time not required just to reserve a spot?

You are lucky !
I have to pay for my storage unit for a full year, even
though I only use it for 5 months. It is the only way
I can be guaranteed a unit will be available.

That's pretty normal. We just found a spot for winter. It is a flat rate regardless of how much you are there. Starts Oct 15th and you are to be out by Apr 15th. We won't go in until early Nov and will most likely be out by the end of March. $600 so well worth it to us to get the coach out of the Michigan winter.

Not in the Phoenix area but we were on a waiting list for two years for covered secure storage with 50 amp and have to pay for a full year if we want to keep it.
