I am not a full timer and I don't drive a DP, but I do my own maintenance.
Before I add a tool to my mobile tool box, I ask myself: "Would you do that job on the road?" If the answer is no, then that tool does not get added.

Obviously different makes/models will have certain things that others won't, I'm just trying to come up with a generic list.
Comprehensive socket and wrench set
Assorted screwdrivers
Assorted pliers and vice grips
Small hammer and pry bar
Duct tape and electrical tape
Electrical kit (dykes, strippers, wire, connectors, solder gun, fuses, test light)
Extra quart of motor oil, starting fluid, WD40
Gloves, shop towels, Oil Dri/kitty litter/sawdust
Flashlight and extra batteries
Jumper cables
Tow strap (you never know!)
What else?

Two Words "Harbor Freight". Spend $200 and pick up the 301 Pc Professional Tool Kit. Comes in a plastic tool case. Any tool you could possibly need is in there. It sits in the cargo hold of my Class A DP

Harbor freight can be great in some things but I'll stick with pawn shops and flea markets for brand name hand tools.
Must have spent a tank of gas taking harbor freight life time hand tools back for replacement.
Some items are great but I pass on therr wrenches and sockets,
something is already broken on the rv I don't need a broken finger when there wrench let's go.
My .02 on cheep hand tools

I carry a fair amount of tools. I found that the vast majority fit in various size soft bags (I tried hard cases) because they fit anywhere. Plastic labels on straps. Small stuff like 1/4" drive goes in a coffee can. Misc nuts/bolt/screws goes in a 2nd coffee can. Power tools are in individual soft bags with labels.

As many have mentioned, VOM and you really should get a multimeter with a AC/DC clamp on amp meter. Learn to use it.
Unless you plan on removing stickers, get rid of the WD40 and use a real lubricant. Something like Tri Flow or many others.

Depends .... would not use their socket sets but for infrequent use the sanders and such are "good enough". Most of my wrenches are Snap-On and so old I don't think about it.

Hey, marjoa, where do you keep your spare compartment keys? Just wondering.

Spare keys? Oh, you mean JIC you need to come and borrow something in the middle of the night and don't want to wake me up? In a very secret place. I like your wit though. Nice try.
I will say, some folks may think I have over killed this but I'll tell ya, working and maintaining our MH is a labor of love of mine and I find it therapeutic of sorts. It's the way I relax. To me, this really isn't a lot of stuff. But my wife will often ask me, "hey honey, what are you doing now". But she's always the first to enjoy all the amenities that work right.
It's just the way I've been brought up and taught by my dad, my service in the Army and during my previous career as a millwright. If you're going to do something, do it right the first time. There's nothing that frustrates me more when I tackle something and don't have the right tool or can't find it without digging through a bunch of.....well you know. I have what I need for 98% of what I need and the rest...well I usually just improvise. I like being proud of our MH and a sense of accomplishment.
I'm Marjoa and I approve this message.

I have just increased the size of the toolbox I carry, but some of my tools are never used.
I carry screwdrivers, a power screwdriver, socket wrenches, hammers, WD-40 and spray silicone, plus duct tape and an assortment of bulbs and fuses.
Most important I carry a couple of tie down straps just in case something pops open!
