However, the hump peaks about 2'-3' beyond the hinge, so the ramp could be elevated to level the back 8'-9'.
That would work as a nice party patio..better than nothing.
We love having that option. Thanks to Don (DGShaffer) who made the first one that I ever saw

Had a couple rare sightings in the Valley of the Sun today. First we had a slow, steady all day rain. Then I spotted this rare Bounty Hunter toy hauler parked in the lot of a rv repair/storage facility. I took a few photos with my Outlaw for comparison. Those two opposite model names always crack me up. It looks like it's a little beat up from sun exposure and not getting much use. It's certainly an interesting take on the class A toy hauler, about the same floor plan as the 3611 Outlaw, but that stepped roofline looks goofy to me. This one has a diesel. Don't they have 12' deep garages?

THANKS to JeffAZ for the pics!
The Bounty Hunter by Gulf Stream had a 12' or 16' garage!
Class A Toy Haulinā€™ Bounty Hunter
The names (Bounty Hunter/Outlaw) always made me wonder...must have been a real battle mentality at the factories.
Came on a Ford or Workhorse Gas or Freightliner FRED (bumped price over $20,000) chassis.
Those windows up-high just behind the roof hump allowed light into the bathroom (drivers side) and loft stair (passenger)...and there were windows facing forward in the more vertical section of the roof hump.
Every model I have seen had the roof railing system.
Cool and rare.
Thanks again

Found a rare Outlaw 3612 (3611 with factory Murphy Bed) that is riding on a Workhorse W24.
https://fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee...861645007.html
I don't understand why a Murphy Bed is not still offered by TMC and/or Newmar in their Toy Hauler(?).
Of course it is rather deep or thick, so this design impacts the usability of the garage.
I have no affiliation with the seller.

Not having a slide on the camp-side of our RV, I thought it would be worth posting about the RV's that have this option.
Specifically - The Newmar Canyon Star 3920/21 and the Outlaw 37MD (38RE too but not a Toy Hauler).
This feature is wonderful for inside space in the dedicated bedrooms, but it juts into the space on the side of the RV where you do most of your outdoor living...
What do you think?

Outlaw - Photo courtesy of: 2014 Damon Outlaw 37MD for Sale in THORNVILLE, OH | RacingJunk Classifieds
I am not affiliated with either source...but just LOVE these Class A Toy Haulers
Safe travels

I would love to have an Outlaw and am looking in the pre-owned market. I have seen some that have a side door in the garage and really want that option. Does anyone know what year they started manufacturing with that option?

Well good lord I stand corrected, it would appear after closer research the side door to the garage first appeared on the 2011 models

I believe Scott (Focker) is correct...2011 saw the second side door added in the Outlaw's garage.

We have a 2010 3808 with a 12 ft garage and we have the side garage door. It is the Scorpion edition with a diesel.
