Clear coat
What removes bugs stains from clear coat? I've tried numerous cleaners with no results. I've done a search here and found no results. Thanks in advance.

I used to use hydrogen peroxide and a microfiber cloth on my Harley.

Have used, used dryer sheets and car wash solution. Works pretty well and doesn't seem to scratch.

You could sand them out with 3000 grit and then buff out.

Agree with hydrogen peroxide. It's cheap and it just melts the bugs with no harm to the surface. We get swarms of lovebugs at times and the peroxide is our salvation.

I put a coat of Rejex on my front. Easy to appy and makes bug removal easier.

What works well for me is good ol' Mr Clean. I mix a strong solution of it in a bucket and apply some and let it sit for a while (if the bugs are dried on good). Then I go back and put more on while gently rubbing with a really soft clean brush. Then rinse.
I don't know that it's a good as some of the chemical formulas, but I figure it's a bit more gentle on the finish. I am interested in trying the H2O2 mentioned above though.

WD-40 a better cleaner than lubricant.

Polish old stains out and then coat with RejeX.
After applying RejeX removing bug guts is no longer a problem. Just don't let them bake for several weeks.
