Clicking sound from fuse panel help

Hello fellow RV'ers,
I'm hoping for some guidance on an electrical problem with my 94 Damon Intruder. I just plugged it into my home (110v) after winter and am hearing a clicking sound from the fuse panel. The lights do dim when the clicking occurs. Any guidance will be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Welcome to iRV2.

Was the coach battery dead when you plugged in ?

You issue sounds like the converter/charger is overheating/overloading, and shutting down , due to trying to charge a defective battery.

Thanks for the quick reply! I don't have a generator any more nor batteries to run the coach off grid, if that makes a difference.

Some older converter/chargers , needed a coach battery in the circuit to stabilize the output voltage .

If there was a battery in the circuit last time the converter worked correctly , I'd say not having a battery now is the issue.

1994 vintage converter would need a battery as 'load' to properly operate unlike New style converters

Thanks for the replies. The generator was gone when I purchased the Intruder last summer and the clicking wasnt happening last year. However, on a brighter note, the clicking sounds seems to have stopped. I made sure loose wires weren't touching the metal frame in the generator cavity and tied them back, which may have done it?
